care for your jewelries:
silver and gold: refresh tarnished surfaces with a rubdown of baking soda and water mixed into a paste, using your fingers or an old toothbrush. a green kitchen scrubbie can also be used to refresh a matte-finish.

oxidized silver: avoid scratching the dark patina, lest it wears away. cleaning can be done with soapy water, a soft brush and a gentle touch. if you would like your piece re-patinated for free, just send it my way!

enamel: enamel is glass fused to metal, and though the bond is strong, dropping on hard surfaces can chip or crack the enamel.

porcelain: although high-fired for durability, like your fine china, you should avoid smashing against hard objects. cleaning with soapy water and an old toothbrush.
